Shares of CNet Inc., a provider of Internet sites and television programming about technology, jumped 5% on Thursday on news the company will be included in the Nasdaq 100 index next week. CNet stock rose $6.06 to $125.75. . . . . . . John Bogle Jr., son of the founder of Vanguard Group, said he plans to open his own money-management firm in September. Bogle, 39, previously worked at Numeric Investors. “He has a good following, so there’s little doubt he’ll attract investors,” said Avi Nachmany, executive vice president at Strategic Insight, a New York-based research firm.
