BUENA PARK
A newly formed group hopes to reduce the blight in one of the city’s higher-crime neighborhoods, mainly by improving the area’s aesthetics. A new apartment association for the Jackson/Fillmore area will begin enforcing residential guidelines as of April 1. Association members will be required to follow rules for keeping apartment exteriors painted, patios maintained, alleys cleaned and lawns well kept.
