OK, but if Maggert Had Won $1 Billion . . .

Even my wife, who is not a real golf fan, couldn’t get over the fact that Jeff Maggert’s $1-million victory at La Costa was relegated to the third page by The Times. Where do you suppose the article would have been if Tiger Woods had won? You bet, right there in big headlines on the front page--very politically correct!
