Residents can try their luck March 12 at Bringing in the Green, the 10th annual casino night sponsored by Hotline of Southern California. More than 200 people are expected to attend the event, which will offer Las Vegas-style gambling, bingo and a buffet dinner. Proceeds will go to Hotline of Southern California, a United Way agency that provides free information and support to teens and adults throughout the region struggling with emotional, health, financial and domestic problems. The agency has assisted about 1,500 callers each month for more than 25 years.
The fund-raiser will be from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Cypress Senior Center, 9031 Grindlay St. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. Information: (562) 594-0960.
