Bravo presents a portrait of the late Russian dancer “Nureyev,” tonight at 5.

Michele Tafoya profiles the soccer players participating in this year’s Women’s World Cup on Lifetime’s “Women Breaking Through,” tonight at 7:30.

“Pinehurst: Stories of Good Times and Great Golf,” tonight at 8 on KCET-TV, traces the history of the 104-year-old North Carolina course.

Lisa Kudrow is the host of the irreverent “The 1999 MTV Movie Awards,” tonight at 9 on MTV. “There’s Something About Mary,” “Armageddon,” “Lethal Weapon 4” and “Shakespeare in Love” are among the big nominees. Keanu Reeves, Keri Russell, Salma Hayek, Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez are scheduled to present.

HBO’s “America Undercover,” tonight at 10, looks at the young athletes participating in “XTreme: Sports to Die For.”

KABC offers coverage of the Hollywood premiere of Disney’s latest animated musical drama, “Tarzan,” on “Tarzan Live: With Phil Collins,” Saturday at 7 p.m.

Suzanne Somers and Gary McDonald, the 1997 World Ten Dance Champion, host NBC’s coverage of “The Latin Dancesport Championship,” Saturday at 8 p.m. Ten couples will compete in the contest, which combines the grace and skill of interpretive dance with the athleticism of sport.

The Fox Family Channel celebrates Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s 13th birthday Sunday at 9 a.m. with a 13-hour marathon of their programming, including their made-for-video movie “Billboard Dad,” and a sneak preview of “Mary-Kate & Ashley’s Adventures, “ a collection of new weekly specials.

“Tell Me Again . . . What’s Love?,” Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on KCET, asks parents to take more interest in preventing their children from becoming involved in violent relationships.

Two KCET specials, “Prostate Cancer: A Journey of Hope,” Sunday at 5:30, and “Prostate Cancer: Are You At Risk?,” following at 6:30 p.m., examine the disease, which will hit more than 180,000 men this year.

The Discovery Channel’s “Runaway Trains II,” Sunday at 8 p.m., features interviews with safety experts and rescue workers who explain the cause of damage resulting from railway accidents.

Anjelica Huston narrates the Learning Channel’s “Showgirl Stories,” Sunday at 9 p.m. The documentary chronicles the true stories of veteran chorus girls.

TBS goes ape with the new comedy series “The Chimp Channel,” tonight at 7:05. The series is set at a cable channel run by primates.

The Cartoon Network premieres its new series “I Am Weasel,” tonight at 8. The animated comedy deals with a wise weasel and a goofy baboon.

The action-adventure series “Sliders” arrives for its fifth season, Friday at 10 p.m. on the Sci-Fi Channel. Missing from the show this year is original cast member Jerry O’Connell and his brother Charlie.

Huell Howser explores the soon-to-be-closed Marine bases at Tustin and El Toro on two new episodes of “Visiting . . . With Huell Howser,” Sunday at 7 and 7:30 p.m. on KCET.

Tom Waits visits VH1’s “Storytellers,” Sunday at 10 p.m.

Lifetime’s “Intimate Portrait” profiles the late Oscar-winning actress Jessica Tandy, Sunday at 10 p.m.
