VILLA PARK
The Rotary clubs of Villa Park and Orange have awarded 20 grants, valued at about $8,000, to Orange Unified elementary teachers. The “Innovation in Teaching” grants were given to teachers representing 14 schools.
The clubs announced the program in December and invited applications for projects that were creative and would challenge students. The maximum individual grant was $500. Teachers and principals will be honored at weekly meetings and presented with the checks.
