LAGUNA BEACH
The City Council on Tuesday will consider reducing the maximum allowable street grade level of 15% to 10%.
Peterson said most of Laguna Beach’s streets exceed a 15% grade.
If approved, the measure will restrict the city’s options with property owners and require developers to build higher retaining walls.
Peterson said he is against the measure because he believes it is designed to be anti-development.
The City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall, 505 Forest Ave.
