To increase public awareness of and participation in the arts, Chapman University will host the Festival of the Arts on Saturday afternoon at the campus, 333 N. Glassell St. The event will feature free workshops, from making ceramics to composing poems, and discussion groups. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee will kick off the festival with a lecture at 1 p.m. in the Chapman Auditorium; the lecture is $5. Information: (714) 997-6812.
