After hearing objections from an Anaheim Hills residents group, City Council members recently tabled a decision on granting a permit for self-storage facilities at Pullman Street and Old Canal Road. Stefanie Perry of Concerned Citizens of the Canyon told council members last week that Anaheim already has more than 23 self-storage businesses with more than 15,000 individual units. Ten percent of the units are vacant, she said, so she questioned why the city wants to add more storage units. City officials will reconsider the proposal at a public hearing set for May 18.
