Foothill’s Bauer Picks Santa Barbara

Middle blocker Danielle Bauer of Foothill has orally committed to play volleyball at UC Santa Barbara, her mother, Camille said.

Bauer, a 6-foot senior, was a starter on the Orange County Volleyball Club Nike team that won the 18-and-under title at the Volleyball Festival at UC Davis in July.

La Habra setter Amanda Siler, a 5-11 1/2 senior who also plays right-side hitter, has committed to play volleyball at Santa Clara, La Habra Coach Troy Abbey said.
