DANA POINT
The city’s 10th anniversary celebration of incorporation will include events every month throughout 1999 and will cost about $29,000, the City Council voted last week. Several thousand dollars will be spent on an anniversary logo, to be used on stationery and banners.
Some events will be new, including a June ceremony for couples to renew their wedding vows. Some annual events, such as the Turkey Trot in November, will be expanded for the anniversary celebration.
