Alliance Deal Near
Alliance Imaging Inc.’s proposed acquisition of the medical diagnostic-imaging assets of American Shared Hospital Services apparently has cleared regulatory hurdles.
Anaheim-based Alliance, which provides diagnostic services to hospitals and other health care providers, said Wednesday that the Federal Trade Commission has concluded its review of the deal and that no changes have been made.
Shareholders of San Francisco-based American are scheduled to meet Nov. 13 to vote on the deal, which calls for Alliance to pay $13.6 million in cash and assume $26.1 million in debt.
