Absentee Ballots Still Available
The registrar-recorder / county clerk’s office in Norwalk will open today to give absentee ballots to voters who are unable to get to a polling place Tuesday. The office, at 12400 Imperial Highway, Room 3002, will be open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
If voters cannot pick up a ballot, they can designate someone to pick one up for them. In that case, voters must provide a written, signed statement requesting that a ballot be given to the representative, who must be named in the request.
The marked ballot must be returned by the voter or the representative to either the Norwalk office or any polling place in Los Angeles County by 8 p.m. election day.
