‘Best Man: Best Boy and All of Us Twenty Years Later’
A 1997 heartfelt sequel to Ira Wohl’s (right) Oscar-winning “Best Boy” (which airs on Cinemax Tuesday at 6 p.m.). In the 1979 film, Wohl sensitively chronicled how at age 50, his mentally retarded cousin, Philly (left), had to learn how to leave his aging parents to live in a sheltered community. It was a wrenching, endearing film, and now Wohl catches us up in what’s happened to Philly and his relatives over the past two decades (Cinemax Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.).
