Man Found Dead in Motel Swimming Pool
A construction worker apparently drowned in a motel swimming pool in Westminster on Tuesday afternoon, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
The man was identified by the Orange County coroner’s office as 35-year-old Terry Scott of Visalia. He was found at 3:50 p.m. floating face down in the pool of the motel in the 6200 block of Westminster Avenue, a Fire Authority dispatcher said.
Paramedics pulled him out of the water, but attempts to revive him failed, officials said. Westminster officials will investigate the incident, police Lt. Robert Burnett said.
