Acacia Passes Fund Campaign Midpoint
Acacia Adult Day Service’s fund-raising campaign for a new building in which to provide day care for frail, elderly clients has passed the halfway point with a $20,000 donation from the Pacific Life Foundation.
The foundation recently presented Acacia with the first installment on the four-year grant, which will be used to build the 12,000-square-foot, $3.5-million center.
Acacia is operating out of temporary quarters, with plans to break ground on the new building later this year, Executive Director Mallory Vega said.
