MISSION VIEJO
The City Council recently approved $135,000 for preliminary designs to widen Crown Valley Parkway from Puerta Real east to the city limits. The project will widen Crown Valley to eight lanes to reduce traffic congestion between Interstate 5 and the Ladera planned community east of Mission Viejo. Developer DMB Ladera LLC will advance the city $500,000 for the designs, a part of the $3,117,000 in contributions to road improvements required by the county as a condition of development.
