Making Connections
Information about health and human service agencies and programs throughout Los Angeles County is available 24 hours a day in English and Spanish through Info Line.
Callers can listen to a taped message about subjects such as emergency/disaster services, seasonal programs, welfare benefits and school programs or talk to a community resource advisor to get additional information.
The lines are often busy; best times to call are before 9 a.m. or after 7 p.m. on weekdays or any time on weekends.
From the San Fernando Valley, call (818) 501-4447; from Burbank and Glendale, call (818) 956-1100 or toll-free (800) 339-6993.
