Dentist Facing Porn Charges Surrenders
TULSA, Okla. — A fugitive dentist accused of taking pornographic pictures of himself with young drugged patients surrendered to police Saturday night.
Dr. Donald C. Johnson had been sought since July 31.
He is accused of taking more than 140 pictures depicting young girls, apparently anesthetized and semiconscious, performing oral sex on a man police have identified as the dentist.
A few of the girls appear to be as young as 4, although most look to be between the ages of 6 and 16, authorities said. Each is seated in a dental chair with her eyes covered by cloth.
Johnson, 47, surrendered without incident and was being interrogated, officers said.
He fled in a rental car after he learned of the charge while vacationing with his wife and daughters in Estes Park, Colo. His wife has since filed for divorce.
