Council Delays Action on Housing Ordinance
THOUSAND OAKS — The City Council postponed discussion Tuesday night on whether to enact an ordinance that would allow city code enforcement officers to search for housing violations at all properties held by delinquent owners within the city.
The matter was postponed because of the absence of a city staff member who was scheduled to present the proposal to the council.
The council plans to discuss the substandard-housing ordinance at its meeting April 28.
