10 Trees to Be Planted to Honor Arbor Day
Volunteers on Saturday will plant 10 trees at George B. Miller Elementary School in observance of Arbor Day.
La Palma residents and businesses gave $1,000 toward the purchase of the ash, ficus, camphor evergreen, pear and carrot wood.
This is the city’s 12th annual Arbor Day celebration.
The event begins at 10 a.m. at the school, 7751 Furman Road. Volunteers should dress in work clothes.
