Boyfriend Linked to Woman’s Drowning
A man being held as a suspect in his girlfriend’s slaying was identified Monday as a 33-year-old Buena Park resident, and the victim was identified as a 29-year-old Norwalk woman.
Duane Arthur Lewis was arrested Saturday night outside Room 225 at the Ramada Limited at 800 S. Beach Blvd. in Anaheim after he apparently called police to report the death of his girlfriend, Jamie Lynette Hulsey, according to Anaheim Police Sgt. Joe Vargas.
Hulsey’s body was found in the room’s bathtub, and preliminary indications suggested she was drowned, Vargas said.
