Collector Videos Offer the Lost ‘Lost’ Pilot, Bloopers and More
Several episodes of the ‘60s TV series “Lost in Space” are currently available on video.
re-tv video library is offering “Lost in Space: The Collector’s Edition,” which features complete, uncut and unedited episodes from the original masters. The first tape features the rarely seen “lost” pilot episode, as well as the pilot episode that did run. The first tape is $5; subsequent episodes are $20 each. To order call (800) 638-2922.
Fox Video’s “Lost in Space” collection includes two three-volume sets ($25 each; $15 for a single episode) featuring installments from the first season. The third set is scheduled for June 30.
Due out Tuesday from Real Entertainment is “The Fantasy World of Irwin Allen” ($15), a tribute to the “Lost in Space” creator that features never-before-seen outtakes, bloopers and behind-the-scenes look at “Lost in Space,” “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea” and “The Time Tunnel.” The video is hosted by “Lost in Space” stars Bill Mumy and June Lockhart.
