Suspected Burglar Seized by Neighbors
Some quick-thinking neighbors in east Ventura nabbed a man suspected of breaking into a pickup truck parked on their street.
Police arrested 21-year-old Dray Matthew Plueger about 4 a.m. after a group of neighbors who were jarred from their sleep by noise caught Plueger allegedly trying to break into the truck on Mandrill Avenue and Lemur Street, a Ventura police spokesman said.
Plueger allegedly had a toolbox that was taken from the truck when he was arrested, the spokesman said.
Plueger was booked into the Ventura County Jail on suspicion of burglary.
