‘Good Food’ Is Theme of 33rd Annual Festival
“A Heritage of Good Food” is the theme for this weekend’s Heritage Festival.
The 33rd annual event will feature a parade, family barbecue, classic car show, crafts fair, children’s games and other activities.
On Friday, a barbecue and a town celebration, organized by the Placentia Round Table Women’s Club, will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Round Table Clubhouse, 901 N. Bradford Ave.
On Saturday at 10 a.m., a parade will salute former Mayor John Tynes and his wife, Clairee.
Cost for the barbecue is $15 for adults and $5 for 5- to 10-year-olds, with proceeds to benefit Placentia youth organizations. A pancake breakfast also will be held on Saturday from 7 to 10 a.m. Cost is $4 for adults.
There is no charge to attend the festival activities on Saturday at Kraemer Park, at Chapman and Bradford avenues. Information: (714) 993-8232.
