Sean Mitchell was promoted to vice president of marketing at Disney Licensing, part of Disney Consumer Products, the entertainment company said.
Mitchell, 30, will oversee a division that includes filmed-entertainment properties as well as brand marketing for Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh.
Mitchell joined Disney Consumer Products in 1993 and worked on retail and consumer-marketing campaigns for licensing programs based on television series, feature-length animated films and home videos. He was most recently director of marketing for filmed-entertainment properties.
Joye Grove has been named business development officer for Los Robles Bank, working primarily in the Simi Valley area. Grove has worked in the banking industry for 30 years, most recently with First State Bank of the Oaks. Los Robles Bank has offices in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Camarillo.
Gerald L. Clark, owner of the Clark Agency in Camarillo, has earned membership in the Million Dollar Round Table. Membership is attained by life insurance underwriters who meet an annual production requirement.
The Round Table’s membership represents the top 6% of life underwriters worldwide.
Heathcote & Associates, a Westlake Village architectural firm, has hired architect James Straughan for its design team and Brooke James as project manager.
Straughan, who has a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, has 16 years design experience. James holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and an MBA.
