Police here arrested three people on suspicion of counterfeiting after they stopped one of them and found $2,500 in fake U.S. currency in his car, police said Tuesday.

Officers responding to a domestic violence call Sunday about 10:10 p.m. in the 4300 block of Green Avenue in Los Alamitos stopped a man fleeing from the home, Los Alamitos police said.
