Applicants Sought for Disabilities Board
City officials are accepting applications for volunteers to serve on the Irvine Residents With Disabilities Advisory Board.
The board is composed of 11 members with disabilities, two parents or guardians of children with disabilities and three residents who may or may not have a disability.
The board identifies and recommends programs and services that would meet the social, physical and emotional needs of residents with disabilities.
Applicants must live or work in Irvine and be willing to commit to a two-year term. Applications should be submitted to the Community Services Department, Civic Center Plaza, P.O. Box 19575, Irvine, 92623-9575, by 5 p.m. Nov. 20.
