CALENDAR

McFarland and Nordhoff highs, the two top-ranked boys’ cross-country teams in the state Division IV poll, will run against each other this afternoon in the Division IV sweepstakes race of the Mt. San Antonio College Invitational.

McFarland has won the past five state Division V titles and Nordhoff was the state Division III champion from 1993-95.

Thirty-one races will be contested in the meet today, with 49 slated for Saturday.

Today’s races start at 1:53 p.m. with Saturday events beginning at 7:30 a.m.
