Deputies to Step Up Efforts on Felton Street
THOUSAND OAKS — In response to complaints about speeding drivers, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Thousand Oaks traffic bureau has designated the area of Felton Street near Evergreen Avenue as its Traffic Tip of the Week.
From today through Saturday, deputies will be actively enforcing the 25 mph speed limit in the area, sheriff’s officials said. They say the area has a high volume of pedestrian traffic and numerous residential driveways.
Sheriff’s Department officials also announced a new number for the abandoned vehicle hotline. It is 371-8379.
