Grant C. Manson; Frank Lloyd Wright Expert
Grant C. Manson, 92, internationally recognized expert on Frank Lloyd Wright. Manson, a native of Chicago, was a lieutenant commander in Navy intelligence during World War II and after the war worked in intelligence for the State Department in Washington. Manson studied at Williams College and Columbia and Harvard universities, and later taught fine arts and architecture at Harvard, Columbia, and the University of Pennsylvania and from 1961 to 1969, at USC. His masterwork is the book “Frank Lloyd Wright to 1910--The Golden Age” published in 1958. On March 6 in St. Clair, Mich.
