Young’s Status Is Now Probable
Although Steve Young’s bruised ribs were still aching, the injury probably won’t keep him out of the lineup Saturday when the San Francisco 49ers play the Packers at Green Bay. Coach George Seifert said that Young’s status, listed as questionable after Sunday’s 14-0 victory over Philadelphia, was being upgraded to probable.
Right guard Chris Dalman, who suffered a sprained left ankle against Philadelphia, has also been upgraded from questionable to probable.
