Commander Among Top Printed Items Distributors
Commander Printed Products, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Ventura, has been ranked among the nation’s top 200 distributors of business forms and labels.
The 1996 rankings were released by “Business Forms, Labels & Systems,” a national trade publication.
The last 12 months proved to be a banner year for the industry, with sales increasing from $1.3 billion to $1.8 billion among the top 200 distributors.
The distributors predicted even more growth in 1997 as an increasing number of companies take advantage of technologies that have been cost-prohibitive in the past, including direct-mail marketing, bar coding and digital short-run color printing.
Commander, located at 1650 Palma Drive, specializes in custom business printing, packaging and promotional items for companies in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
