Sunset 5 to Host Garbo Retrospective

Screen legend Greta Garbo is the subject of an eight-week retrospective at the Sunset 5, 8000 Sunset Blvd., starting Saturday at 11 a.m. with a rare screening of the 1930 German-language film “Anna Christie” (repeats on Sunday).

The rest of the lineup includes “Mata Hari” (1932), Jan. 11-12; “Grand Hotel” (1932), Jan. 18-20; “Queen Christina” (1933), Jan. 25-26; the English-language version of “Anna Christie” (1930), Feb. 1-2; “Camille” (1935), Feb. 8-9; “Ninotchka” (1939), Feb. 15-17; “Anna Karenina” (1935), Feb. 22-23.

All films screen at 11 a.m.
