CAM Data Systems Inc.: The Fountain Valley developer of software for retailers said that net income for the year ended Sept. 30 more than doubled to a record $840,000, or 39 cents a share, from $413,000, or 21 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue increased 7% to $15.7 million from $14.7 million. Net income for the fourth quarter totaled $224,000, or 10 cents a share, compared with $223,000, or 11 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue rose 5% to $4.2 million from $4 million.
