Windsor Suites Hotel Sold
SANTA ANA — Los Angeles-based Windsor Capital Group Inc. and Olympus Real Estate Corp. of Dallas have purchased the Windsor Suites Hotel in Santa Ana, the partnership group announced Thursday. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The 302-suite hotel will change its name on Saturday to the Embassy Suites Orange County Airport North.
The deal marks the sixth California hotel property purchased by Olympus in 1996. Earlier this year, the privately held company purchased a controlling interest in five California luxury hotels, including the Inn at Laguna Beach.
The Santa Ana hotel brings to 14 the number of Embassy Suites hotels owned and operated nationwide by Windsor Capital Group. The private company also owns the Marriott Hotel in Walnut Creek, and will open a Hawthorn Suites Hotel in Las Vegas in early 1997.
