Southland Students to Quiz First Lady on Radio Talk Show
First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton will field questions from students at three Southland schools during an appearance on KABC-AM (790) Monday morning with talk show host Michael Jackson.
The 9-10 a.m. broadcast from Washington will feature inquiries submitted via the Internet and fax from students at Fenton Avenue Charter School in Lakeview Terrace, Pio Pico Elementary in Los Angeles and Cal State Fullerton.
From 10 a.m. to noon, Jackson will interview other administration officials, including U.N. Ambassador Madeleine Albright, Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala, Laura Tyson, chairman of the National Economic Council, and George Stephanopoulos, senior advisor to President Clinton.
On Tuesday, Jackson will broadcast live from the Senate with key Republican leaders.
