Two plays later, Warfield scored on a 35-yard run to give the Golden Hawks a 14-7 lead with 7 minutes 54 seconds remaining in the third quarter.

Loara tied it at 14-14 when running back John Duhon scored on a nine-yard run with more than six minutes left in the third quarter.
