Sept. 27--Antelope Valley at Sylmar. Intersectional matchup featuring perennial powers.
Oct. 18--Garfield vs. Roosevelt at East L.A. College. The best-attended high school game west of the Mississippi River.
Oct. 25--Compton Centennial at Beverly Hills. Last year’s game drew national attention after Centennial player punched referee.
Oct. 26--Bishop Amat vs. Loyola at Glendale High. A rematch of last year’s Southern Section Division I championship game.
Nov. 15--Mater Dei at Capistrano Valley. Title contenders meet in the regular-season finale.
