Glide Into Summer Shade
Summer’s sunny afternoons and warm evenings offer many opportunities to rest and relax on the patio, on the porch or in the yard. Nothing helps relieve the stress of a long, hot day at work or in the workshop like a cold drink and the gentle back-and-forth motion of a glider.
A glider differs from a rocker or swing in that its seat is suspended in its own frame. As a result, the unit is self-contained and “glides” instead of rocking or swinging.
This glider project is a good one for do-it-yourselfers of all skill levels.
