The JetHawks continued to pick up players and victories Monday, beating the Bakersfield Blaze, 10-1, before 3,470 at the Hangar on a night when two new faces were added to the roster.

The JetHawks (25-27), who won for the fourth time in five games, were joined by infielders Adonis Harrison and Luis Figueroa. They came from the Seattle Mariners’ extended spring training in Peoria, Ariz., to replace shortstop Luis Molina, who suffered a season-ending knee injury Sunday, and pitcher Ivan Montane, who was sent to double A.

Harrison and Figueroa each had singles as part of the JetHawks’ 14-hit attack. Catcher Scot Steinmann, who was added to the roster Thursday because of injuries to two of the JetHawks’ other catchers, had the first two hits of his professional career. Mike Lanza had three hits, including a triple.

JetHawk starter Marino Santana (3-5) pitched seven innings, giving up one run on three hits and striking out seven.

After the Blaze took a 1-0 lead on Doug Carroll’s first-inning home run, the JetHawks tied the game in the second on Jason Cook’s single and James Clifford’s double. They put the Blaze away with five runs in the fifth.

The key blow came off the bat of Harrison. With runners at first and second, Harrison squared to bunt and then swung, singling into left field. Bakersfield’s Tony Sheffield let the ball roll under his glove, allowing all three runners to score.
