Local Businesses to Show Work at Expo
Simi Valley merchants and businesses will show off their wares Saturday and Sunday at the 18th annual Shop Simi Valley Expo on Los Angeles Avenue.
The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce sponsors the event, which lets local retailers, service providers, restaurants and nonprofit organizations set up booths to display their work. Approximately 160 businesses will take part.
The expo runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Tapo Canyon Road.
The Simi Valley Police Department’s K-9 squad will put police dogs through their paces, and the Ventura County Fire Department will demonstrate rescue tactics.
The $1 admission price provides chances for door prizes and giveaways.
