Golden West Hires Soccer Coach
Bobby Ostovarpour has been named women’s soccer coach at Golden West College, Athletic Director Tom Hermstad announced.
Ostovarpour replaces Tiffany Kirsch, an assistant coach at UC Irvine. Ostovarpour, a graduate of Ocean View High, played at Golden West in 1978. He was a women’s assistant at the school in 1985 and a volunteer men’s assistant last fall.

The Piranhas’ single-game tickets will go on sale Saturday, the team announced. Ticket prices range from $7 to $39.50 and may be purchased at the Pond or through Ticketmaster.
The Piranhas open their Arena Football season April 20 with an exhibition game against the St. Louis Stampede.
