Los Amigos Wins, Ends Streak at 60
Los Amigos stopped a 60-game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over Long Beach Poly in a nonleague softball game that was called after six innings Wednesday in Long Beach.
The Lobos (1-9) trailed, 3-2, after four innings, but used an 11-hit attack to rally. Vanessa Estrada and Suzy Reyes had run-scoring singles and Claudia Engulo hit a sacrifice fly in a three-run fifth for Los Amigos.
Kim Guillen pitched three innings of relief to earn the victory.
