Plane Trouble: Eric Douglas, son of actor Kirk Douglas, is scheduled to stand trial April 29 on his second set of federal charges for disrupting an airplane flight. Douglas was charged with refusing to put his 20-pound dog in a cage during a Continental Airlines flight to Newark, N.J., Sunday night. The complaint said that Douglas also verbally abused the crew and rolled up blankets and threw them at attendants. Last November, an L.A. judge threw out charges that Douglas disrupted an American Airlines flight, squeezed an attendant’s buttocks and insisted that his dog sit in his lap. The New Jersey judge has ordered that Douglas undergo psychological, alcohol and drug testing.
