Fullerton Rallies Past Golden West, Ends Skid at Three
Fullerton ended a three-game losing streak with a late-inning rally and defeated Golden West, 4-3, in an Orange Empire Conference baseball game Saturday at Fullerton.
The Hornets trailed, 3-1, before scoring three times in the eighth inning. Jason Thies beat out an infield single with two outs to drive in the tying run. And when Golden West second baseman Riley Breckenridge threw wildly trying to get Thies at first, the go-ahead run scored.

Cypress 5, Riverside 2 (13 innings)--In the 13th inning, Steve Henman singled with one out, advanced to second on Craig Kuzmic’s single and scored the go-ahead run on pinch-hitter Lance Williams’ single. Ken Granger then doubled home Kuzmic and Williams for Cypress (19-6, 7-2).
Ara Petrosian pitched 11 innings and struck out 11, but got a no-decision for the Chargers.
Rancho Santiago 7, Orange Coast 1--Scott Glasser hit a leadoff home run for Rancho Santiago (15-5, 4-3). Eric Sobek had two doubles and two RBIs for the Dons.
