Anaheim officials said Saturday the city has reached a one-year lease agreement, with options to extend up to three years, with the Seahawks to use the former Rams Park as their practice facility and offices.

The Seahawks are expected to begin off-season training at the newly named Anaheim Training Facility on Monday.

“This agreement means that our team’s off-season conditioning program can officially proceed as planned, and that the site will serve as our Southern California headquarters,” said John Lohr, representative of Seahawks owner Ken Behring.

“Naturally, we’re happy that all the details could be worked out to everyone’s satisfaction,” said Anaheim City Manager James D. Ruth. “We are excited that Anaheim will be home, at least on an interim basis, to the franchise.”
