Mentally Disabled O.C. Woman Is Sought
COSTA MESA — Police and family members appealed to the public for help Saturday in an effort to find a missing 33-year-old woman with the mental capacity of a 14-year-old.
Police said the woman, Farineh Komaily, left her home in the 400 block of Fair Drive about 5 p.m. Friday and has not been seen since. Komaily, who has lived with her parents since an accident left her brain-damaged, does not normally stay outside after dark, Sgt. Tom Winter said.
Komaily was described as 5-foot-3, weighing about 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt with a picture of actor James Dean on the front.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Costa Mesa Police Department at (714) 754-5252.
