California Amplifier Gets $7-Million Order
California Amplifier Inc., a Camarillo producer of equipment used by television broadcasters, has received a $7-million order from a wireless cable system operator in Thailand.
The order, from International Broadcasting Corp., is for California Amplifier’s MultiCipher products, which scramble broadcasts so only paying subscribers can receive them.
The equipment is to be shipped between now and March, 1997.
