Kalcevich and receiver Guillermo Esparza linked up to post some huge offensive numbers Friday in a 40-34 victory over Savanna. Kalcevich completed nine of 14 passes for 325 yards, including 281 yards and four touchdowns to Esparza. Kalcevich also rushed eight yards for a touchdown and rushed for two key first downs. With the score tied, 34-34, in the fourth quarter, Kalcevich took Brea Olinda’s only punt of the game. It went about 40 yards and stopped on the Savanna one. Brea’s defense, setting up the winning touchdown, a 45-yard pass from Kalcevich to Esparza.

* Tustin. Smith, a junior, and Marciales, a sophomore, finished first and second in the Golden West League finals, running three miles in 15 minutes 37 seconds and 15:41, to lead the Tillers to the team title.

* Foothill, senior. Gained 247 all-purpose yards and scored four touchdowns in a 42-35 victory over Orange.
